Copenhagen Contemporary
Located at Papirøen, the former paper island in Copenhagen's inner harbour, Copenhagen Contemporary is placed beside the Opera house and opposite the Royal Playhouse and the charming old harbour area. Its spacious halls give room to large-scale contemporary art pieces.
You will find large installations of light, sound and motion, sculptural landscapes, performance and monumental video art on multiple screens by artists such as Yoko Ono, Bruce Nauman, Ragnas Kjartansson and Céleste Boursier-Mougenot, and Pettersen & Hein.
Normann Copenhagen is excited to support this art space. Copenhagen Contemporary’s Art Bar is furnished with Slice tables with a linoleum finish, My Chairs, and Form barstools and illuminated by rows of Bell lamps.
Interior accessories, such as Krenit bowls and Nyhavn vases add a contemporary Scandinavian feel to the wine bar. The minimalistic meeting rooms include Amp lamps, artisanal wooden Slice tables and upholstered Just chairs.
